Installation and Care

SURGEx-C1520 is designed for use with dishwashers and washing machines. To install, close the water supply tap and attach the arrestor directly to the machine. Next, fit the machine hose to the arrestor and from there to the wall tap. The arrestor can be installed in any position to accomodate all installation requirements. If needed, use plumbers' tapes and check for leaks. SURGEx arrestors are maintenance free and will provide long-lasting protection against water hammer.

SURGEx C1520 MEGA LEAD FREE
is a Copper piston Water Hammer Arrester (WHA) for washing machines and dish washers fitted with LEAD FREE brass fitting for safe use with drinking water. The C1520 uses an 'A' size WHA integrated to a 'Tee' fitting with a 3/4" DN20 BSP (male / female) connections that can be connected directly to the machine through the swivel female connection while the hose from the tap to be connected to the male side of the Tee.

The C1520 can be used in cold and hot water and in new or old installations. The C1520 had been charged at factory and does not need to be recharged again. It is maintenance free.
